Bakshis, Gorevan, Serapi and Tabriz are popular types of rugs woven in the Heriz region. The popular Heriz pattern is also made in India both in bright, deep traditional colors and also in softer earth tones. Herez is a city found in northwestern Iran in the province of Azerbijan. Some Heriz characteristics are thought to be derived from the classical Caucasian rugs of the 17th and 18th centuries. The foundation is usually cotton with a wool pile. Heriz rugs usually have a classic medallion and corner design. They can have all over patterns but are more often seen with a large geometric medallion and are notorious for their durability. Heriz rugs are very recognizable due to their strong floral geometric angular designs.

SHIPPING POLICY
All rug orders are delivered via UPS Ground Shipping Or Federal Express at NO charge to you (in the contiguous United States excl. AK, HI). We will email tracking information to you when it becomes available.
For oversized rugs (larger than 9'0 x 12'0), alternative shipping methods might have to be arranged. In this case, an independent trucking company will contact you to arrange delivery of your rug(s) during business hours.
Free shipping and handling is not included with the purchase of products other than rugs.
PROCESSING/TRANSIT TIME
Most of our rugs ship within 6 to 8 business days. That means that you should receive tracking information within 8 business days, but it can take up to two weeks for certain items. If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you with an approximate restock date. Rugs that are oversized (larger than 9'0 x 12'0) are typically shipped freight and may take longer to process and ship.
RETURNS
We do not accept returns for online rug orders. All online purchases are final sale.
Pads and samples are non-refundable.
DAMAGED ITEMS
If for any reason a rug is delivered damaged, please use the contact form and a representative will contact you asap. We stand by our products and return all damaged goods! Damaged goods must be reported within 15 days.
