Choosing the right couch is one of the biggest furniture decisions you'll make — it's where you spend the most time, and it sets the tone for your living room. Here's what to consider when shopping for a sofa or couch.

Sofa vs. sectional vs. loveseat — A standard sofa seats 3 and works in most rooms. Sectionals are better for open-concept spaces or large families. Loveseats fit tight apartments and work as accent seating alongside a larger couch.
Fabric matters — Families with kids and pets should look at our performance fabrics (stain-resistant, extra durable). All three of our manufacturers offer a wide selection of performance fabrics that can stand up to real life.
Measure twice or maybe even three times — Bring your room dimensions. Including any odd angles or fire places we need to keep in mind so we can help find the right size and layout for your home.
Test it out — Sit how you would sit at home, do you like to sit upright, sprawl out, or get cozy in the corner, we recommend sitting for at least 5 minutes to make sure you like the seat depth and cushion firmness.
