  • Tabriz 12307

True Tabriz rugs capture on the sophisticated feel and the classical take on theSafavid Court carpets. Known for their tight woven knots the designs usually tend to encompass floral patterns with free flowing vines. This rug is circa 1950's and is highlighted by around 600 knots per inch. This Tabriz has has a lovely medallion in the middle with a rich navy, and a red/pink that blends into the border. We call this a teardrop mosque design.
